It's 2017, and fashion is still the 2nd most polluting industry in the entire world. Did you know that fast fashion companies have 52 micro-seasons because they release new clothing every single week? Studies show that consumers wear fast fashion items only 4-5 times and then throw them out after about a month.

We pride ourselves on clothing that's made to last- not just because they're quality garments (many have told us they've been wearing the same Rey Swimwear suit for 5+ years!), but also because they can be worn season after season.

What can you, as a consumer, do to help alleviate the problems that fast fashion brings? When you're out shopping, remember-

Going from season to season doesn't have to mean buying an entirely new wardrobe. As a part of our commitment to ethical fashion, we design clothes that can easily transition from summer to fall.

Mix and match:

Pair any of our skirts with your favorite sweaters.

Layer:

The simple addition of tights or a scarf and swapping out those open-toed sandals for closed-toed heels or booties completely transforms your outfit without having to spend a ton of money on a new wardrobe.

Don't buy things just to buy them. When I shop for a top, I try to make sure it'll go with at least 3 bottoms that I already own (and vice versa). Get creative and learn how to make the most of what you already have by mixing and matching and styling them different ways.
