Dear Admirer, give me roses

August 24, 2016

Nothing makes me blush more than receiving a bouquet of roses. I love putting them into a pretty vase and placing them on my desk to admire as the day goes by. However, give it a few days and the flowers will start to wilt and the petals will start to fall off (EEP!) Now, I can’t help but think that although roses are pretty, they aren’t cheap! I wish I could keep roses looking just as they do when I first get them like the magical rose in Beauty and the Beast. Then one day, it hit me. There is a way to preserve these flowers…by bottling this beauty!

And I'm not talking about bottling them up like pickles. Rather, I am talking about a luxurious potion that will make your skin smell and feel angelic. Rose water!

Rose water has been a highly desired thing within the skin care and cosmetic industry within the past several years. Not only does it smell amazing, but it also is moisturizing and can be used as a setting spray for makeup. You can buy Rose Water or you can make it yourself!

My Rose Water Potion:

A handful of Roses (any color you like)

Distilled water

A glass spray bottle or jar

Step 1: Take the petals off of the rose stem and wash them to take all of the yucky stuff off.

Step 2: Place them in a pot and fill with distilled water- just barely covering them.

Step 3: Heat and simmer for 3-4 minutes or until the color in the roses is gone.

Step 4: Strain the roses and transfer the water to a glass jar or spray bottle.

Now you have the perfect love potion!

Now the next time you receive roses, instead of watching them die, you can save them for a little bit longer!  Remember to take it with you on your travels to hydrate your skin.

Stay lovely.

Absolutely beautiful

This is a gorgeous bathing suit. Very well made and I am so happy to find a beautiful swimsuit with full coverage. I am in my 50s and this is perfect!

Great quality

I absolutely love how soft this bathing suit is. It’s both modest and cute.
The size I got was too big but the customer service was so prompt in answering questions. Great company.

So pretty

The print is gorgeous. Bought an XS for my daughter who is between kid sizes and adult sizes. Maybe a 00 or kids 14/16. It's a little big, but not much. The adjustable straps make it work for anyone. Love these swimsuit cuts!

Modest. Wonderful Quality

It’s difficult to find girls’ suits with full coverage on the bottom. Thank you! Fits well if you go off other sizes your daughter wears…a 6/7 fits my 4-5 year old daughter perfectly. High quality fabric as well.
